An app that lets you talk to your dogs or tell their emotions by the way they are barking. Man, people love their dog and if you had a little app, you hold it up and it tries, I don't know if that's possible, but. A vending machine with first aid kits. I think they have that in Japan. They got all kinds of stuff in Japan, so what's your idea? Let's see what else we got. I'm just looking at my @tailopez Twitter. I'm gonna look at my Facebook too. People have been posting a ton. I'm gonna pick a winner here. I'm gonna post a Twitter vote with some ideas and who else has some ideas? You could post 'em right here. An app that traps your car keys. That's not a bad idea. I like that one. I might use that one. Post it on my Twitter @tailopez then I can retweet 'em, see how many, let's see what else we got here on Twitter. Who is good at picking new business ideas? A lot of these are marijuana ones. People love it. Virtual reality arcade game. Somebody says they're gonna delete their tweet if I don't use it, cos they don't want someone to steal it.
Here's the deal. Ideas don't get stolen that much. That's a myth, man. That's a fuckin' myth. People are like Mark Zuckerberg stole that idea. No, he didn't! There was Myspace already. Use your brain. Use your brain. There is some things you have to keep hidden, like don't people your bank account number. If you have a secret formula for a chemical compound, like a pharmaceutical, you gotta keep that private. If you have a military idea. But, almost all ideas are already out there. That's why I said do you have an idea that already exists? If you have an idea that already exists, so maybe someone didn't execute on it the best. Facebook was the third social media app. A light beam, let's see. Virtual reality seating at The Grammys. Hearing aids in funeral homes. A business you could travel, uh, using music to market. Let's see. Website rentals. Create websites from scratch. Huh, that's actually a good idea. So instead of them actually owning a website…
Only problem with that people are gonna want businesses are gonna want to own their own, so, I don't know. Solar power. That's not really a business idea. Let's see. Chewing gum that absorbs alcohol concentrations from the human body, @queenjuliza. Huh, that's all right idea. The problem with that one is do you know how to create the chewing gum? (laughs) A company that buys and sells, trades houses, stocks. Yeah, that exists. Library vending machine, like Redbox, but for books. Yeah, that's an idea that I've heard a lot. I got mixed feelings on it, though who knows. It's hard to know, it's hard to know, but let's see. A life coach app assisting you with calorie intake, fitness, financial advice. Yes, there are a lot of people going after that, MyFitnessPal's going after that. Under Armor bought them for $400,000,000. That's possible. A whole lot of these are possible. Just 'cause I don't pick your idea doesn't mean, you know, I can only pick so many, so don't get discouraged.
The issue about cannibis, marijuana, is that it's subject to what's called regulatory risk, so it's gonna be a good idea if the regulations stay in a place that allows you to, you know, continue, like California is very marijuana-friendly, but not all states are, not all countries are. So that's a risk. Whenever you start a business, you gotta look at what's called regulatory risk. There's different types of risk, that's one. Let's see, a water softener system. Selling shoe… Hmm, I'm gonna look on Facebook now. Mobile restaurants. Well, those taco trucks, man. Taco trucks are a damn good idea. Okay, people are posting ideas on Twitter. A GPS app for shopping malls. Let me look on Facebook. I'm getting these things are pouring in here. All right, what we got here. We have 300, okay. Somebody says Tai is gonna steal all your ideas. Come on this dude's stupid. I got so many ideas I haven't even gotten to, the odds of me stealing somebody's idea is very low.
Anyway, if I can steal your idea from just one post, what happens when you launch the business? That's what people are so stupid. Oh, people are dumb. If your business is so easy to replicate that the day you launch, someone can just replicate it, that's not a good business. You need a barrier to entry. My favorite thing is people who comment 'cause they think they're smart. They like, comment with this cocky attitude. I'm like, come on son, you need to have the attitude of learning, man. You're not ready to be teaching. Okay, a back plate that helps you have better posture. A voting app. This guy's trying to give me advice. No idea is a good business idea because it's only an idea sitting there. Put some effort, do the work, and you can create multiple. Keep your 500 bucks. This guy's stupid. You do need a good idea. An idea's like a seed, you know, it has potential. Obviously you gotta water the seed, you gotta cultivate the seed, but the seed is important.
So you need a good idea and good execution. Some people focus too much on the idea or the execution. You gotta do both. You need KSE. Knowledge, you gotta know what's working out there, you gotta have a strategy to personalize it to what you're trying to do and you gotta execute. Three things. Not just one, three. Three, three, three. Let's see here. Electronic scanner that allows customers to go in, I don't know what this is. Build casinos. (laughs) That is a good one. You know why I like Twitter? 'Cause it's shorter. Because if you want to have a business idea, you gotta get to the point. People don't want to read long stuff. Basically if your idea good at, most investors are gonna turn it off mentally if it's not relatively quick, you know. You got to get to what your point is. You should be able to say it in under 15 words then you can explain it, if they're interested, then you can explain more, you know what I mean? All right. Let's see what else we got on Twitter.
My Twitter's @tailopez. All right. An app that can tell you where your family is at, at all times. Tells you when they spend money from your credit card. I think that exists but I like that idea. Safety's important to families. What else we got? College loan program that has no interest if you take the job. They arrange it for you and hold it for five years. Then the loan is paid back by the employers. That's kind of an interesting idea. Yeah, that's tricky. Whenever you lend money you get also in a lot of banking issues. The US government has a lot of rules and regulations around lending, what you can and can't do, so, but just because it's hard doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Often times, the fact that it's hard, means you should do it, because if it's hard it means other people won't be able to easily do it, so. Let's see. Delivery for anything services, like Post Mates. Yeah. Uber food, this guy doesn't know that exists. It's called Uber Eats.
But still, somebody could compete with Uber, it's just a little tricky to compete with them. Somebody said there needs to be an app for app ideas. A tablet that translates foreign words being spoken into English. Google Translate is pretty good at that, man. Pillows that always stay cool or cold. Hey, I like that idea. I hate hot pillows. That's actually an interesting idea. That's from @magical_pizza. It's a picture of a pretty girl. Is that your actual picture? Sometimes there's dudes on Twitter and they just post a picture of a girl they like. What else? Key Master vending machine that gives you the opportunity to win limited edition sneakers, Yeezys shoes. Five bucks a try. That, though, comes under the regulations of gambling and casino type stuff. You can't do that in a lot of states. It's basically a lottery. When people have to pay money in order to win something, that's a tricky one. It's illegal in a lot of countries, too, so I don't know if that has the potential to be a billion dollar idea.
Hotel that employs the homeless and houses them on the first floor. It'd be a good socially conscience business. All right, I think I'm gonna post, what do you guys think? Here's the ones that I've retweeted. We've got pillow that always stays cold. I'm gonna put this up for a vote, here, on my Twitter, actually. Where is my Twitter phone? I got a lot of phones here. I got four phones, so I'm gonna post this right here so you could vote. I think the ones I like, I'm gonna put which is the next billion dollar idea? Okay. Pillows that stay cold. Maybe I'll put million dollar idea. Pillows that stay cold. What else do I have here? Library, what do you guys think? Library vending machine? Damn, there's some good ones here. Okay, vending machine, first aid vending machine, what do you think of that? I kinda like that. First aid vending machine. All right, what else we got here? An app that lets you talk to dogs. App to understand, to talk to dogs. (laughs) It's kind of an outlandish idea but hey, sometimes crazy ideas turn out to be the best, you know?
Oh, home delivery, I like this. Home delivery coffee. Okay, that's my first vote. Go vote right now on my Twitter which of these four that you think is, and I'm probably gonna put, we'll go with these four. There are some other great ones here, I might do these tomorrow or another day. An app that tells you where your family is. I wanna post this. I'm gonna do two and then we'll do a semi-final and then we'll do a finalist, so we'll make this big controversy here. Big build up. All right, what other ones? Pillows that…(sighs) These biz ideas could be big. All right, I'm gonna do the next one. I'm gonna do no interest college loans. This ones gonna be hard to beat. The problem is, can you do it? I think that one might win if you ask me, 'cause that's a big problem for people. Uh, app to track your kids, all right? App to track your kids. What do you think of this one? Chewing gum that absorbs alcohol. (laughs) So you can drink more, I guess.
I'm gonna post that one. Chewing gum absorbs alcohol. All right. Go vote on these. I wanna see which one you think. My Twitter's @tailopez. It's free to vote. And then we say, teeny homes for the poor. That's a good business, helps people and could be big. Let's see, all right, here we go. All right, I got two Twitter polls running. I'm gonna take the winner of these two and then, I'm gonna post that. Oh man, pillows that stay cold is winning. Ah, damn! Okay. @magical_pizza. That's hilarious, man. I told you, that's a good idea though. There's nothing better. I wonder if, somebody should google that. Does it already exist? Pillows that, I guess you'd have to put a little electricity or a battery or maybe a cold pack in the core of the pillow. Yeah, that'd be kinda interesting, right? (laughs) I like it. I like it, I like it. All right, and I got this other one up for vote. That already has 300 votes in under two minutes, so go vote on it.
Give your opinion. Let's see if you can get… It's a good test of your business skills. Can you predict the one that's gonna win? And no interest college loans, well it's too early to tell. The second one only has 12 votes, it's only been up for a few seconds. I think it's gonna be, it might end up being this pillows that stay cold versus no interest college loans. Oh man, this is pretty interesting. Someone said there's one on Kickstarter. Service that picks up restaurant leftover food to give to the homeless. That's a great thing. That's more of a charity type idea. So there's two, in life, there's really three types of businesses you can have. For profit business, a non-profit business, and now there's businesses that kind of straddle the line and they're in between. They're not non-profits and they're like charitable for profits. They've actually got some legal designations for those. Doorbell that makes a barking sound when pressed to scare off would-be intruders.
That might be good, but the problem is robbers are gonna start figuring that out. I don't know, maybe they wouldn't. Not all robbers are smart. All right, let's see if this other one's got votes 'cause I'm gonna put up the final vote. You can vote. I'm gonna put up the two that did the best. The winner gets 500 bucks. Ooh, this is a close one, boy. No interest college loan is neck and neck with gum that absorbs alcohol and teeny homes for the poor. But pillows that stay cold is killin' it. Interestingly enough, in that poll, the app to talk to your dog or interpret what your dog is saying is actually number two. Very, very interesting. But no interest college loans is holding it. I'm gonna, (laughs) we're gonna let this go for another minute or two. I might just post, well, man. This one might turn on us. There's only 177 votes. It's only been up two minutes. Go vote, it's free. I need more votes so we can get this done, @tailopez. Hey, by the way, if you're not on Twitter, you gotta learn the social media game.
I can promise you this. If you want to learn to make more money in the modern world, this is 2017. This isn't 1842, okay? You don't want to be using billboard ads. I mean, maybe. You don't want to be using old school TV. All that stuff is gonna become the way of the past. What's gonna be the future? Social media marketing. It already is. It already is, okay? So, if you're not on Twitter, go start playing the Twitter game a little bit. It's free. Sometimes people don't use ideas, I'm like, it don't even cost you any money. So, go vote there and we'll see. @tailopez is my Twitter, you can follow me, or I don't think you even have to follow me if you don't, but if you want to follow me so maybe in the future you can win 500 bucks. Lookit, no interest college loans is staying up there. All right, I'm gonna post four because, I'll post the four that did the best now. Here's the final. Who is gonna win the 500 bucks? Who do you call?
What's your call? Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. What you callin'? I think I'm gonna go with, I think I'm gonna go with no interest college loans, but I don't know, we'll see. All right, let me post this. All right, winner gets 500 bucks. I'll PayPal them $500 right after this. Which is the final best business idea? All right, is it, so I'm gonna post it just kind of in order. No interest college loans, all right. Damn it. We got no interest college loans, pillows that stay cold. We got gum that absorbs alcohol. That's kind of an interesting one, I don't know if that, I'm surprised that doesn't exist, after you go out drinking with your friends you just stick some gum in your mouth, try to cover it up. And I'm gonna put, I guess the fourth one is the app to talk to dogs. All right, go vote. 500 bucks coming up for somebody. We've got the two semi-finalists. I took the four best. The ones that got the best vote. Somebody said Tai, you're gettin' all these ideas.
I'm not just gettin' ideas. So are you. It's not just for me. You think I'm gonna launch all these ideas? You know how many businesses I already have my hands in? I can't even keep track of 'em all. So, people are so jaded now, they think that I do this… I do this for fun, I do this for entertainment, I do this because, who knows? Maybe it'll help you find your next business idea. So, let's see. What's gonna win. I am very interested. It takes about two more minutes to really see. It takes a second to kick in. Pillow that stays cold will be a miracle. The pillow sounds the best 'cause your pillow, I'm gonna google that right now. Does this exist? Pillow, I'm just googling. Pillow that stays cold. Ah, actually you only have to make a pillow case. Smart temperature pillow cases. Cooling pillow cases. Now again, just because an idea exists, doesn't mean you can't do it. Why? Because I've never heard of it, that means it's not very well marketed.
You can oftentimes build a business on an existing idea that you can market better than the original company. That's what Facebook did. That's what many companies, in fact, very few companies that become big were the first with the idea. And that's something that people really get confused. That's why people are afraid to talk about their idea, they think someone's gonna steal it. Very, very, very, look, pillows that stay cold is still winning. It's neck and neck, look at that, with the no interest college loans. Neck and neck, 32 to 30. I gotta give it a couple more minutes to declare the winner because sometimes it changes later. Number three is app to talk to dogs. Number four is the gum that absorbs alcohol, so. Ooh! Man, that surprised me, but the pillow is staying. Now it's neck and neck, it's 32% each. No interest college loans, 32%. Pillows that stay cold, 32%. Interesting, man. Interesting. An app to talk to dogs, now, how would you do that? You would have to find some behavioral expert who knows the tonalities of dogs and, yeah, that would be pretty interesting.
Pretty interesting, man. I'm gonna post this on my Snapchat. Snapchat you should be watching my Facebook and Instagram Live. We almost have a $500 winner. It's between these four ideas. Which one do you think's best? For all of you not using Snapchat, make sure you use Snap. It's part of the future, wave of the future. Same with Insta Stories. We got the idea pillows that stay cold, first aid vending machines, no, no, sorry. Damn it. Kill that snap. We've got the four finalists, no interest college loans, an app to track your kids, gum that absorbs alcohol, wait a second. Sorry. Damn it. I keep reading the wrong tweet. Here's the four finalists you can go vote. No interest college loans, pillows that stay cold, gum that absorbs alcohol, and an app to talk to your dogs. Which one's gonna win? I think we can just about declare a winner but I'm gonna let it go. We've got 400… Once it gets to 500 votes that's what I'm gonna do. Someone said an app for Uber to call for security guards.
I don't know if there's enough demand for that. Most people don't need security guards, and the people that do are not gonna wanna use an app. It could work but I wouldn't invest in that. But, just 'cause I wouldn't invest in it, doesn't mean you shouldn't try it, because I'm wrong so many times. I'm right a good bit of time but I can be wrong, there's no doubt about it. No matter how long you've been in business, you still make big mistakes, you got blindside, so, like I said, take my opinion with a grain of salt. We're at 430 votes. Ooh, it's holdin', man it's close. Pillows that stay cold is at… Someone said a toaster that stays clean. Don't they already have self-cleaning toasters? They have self-cleaning ovens that just heat up or something like that. Someone said, Phil says they already have that idea. 500 bucks about to be awarded. Okay, here we go. Oh man, it's getting closer. We're at 532 votes in five minutes.
Pillows, at my Twitter, @tailopez if you want to see it for yourself. Pillows that stay cold. I said once it got to 500, I'm gonna declare the winner. It could change later, but congratulations to @magical_pizza, you can see her on my, I retweeted her. $500 winner, @magical_pizza. Looks like it's a woman, it was her idea, pillows that always stay cold. I'll PayPal you the 500 bucks. Watch for this this week, I'm gonna do it again. That's kinda cool. Nice little $500, so I'm gonna do this again. (laughing) Somebody said can we name the cold pillow a chillow? Damn, that's a good idea! Somebody should go out there. I'm giving you ideas. You wanna become a millionaire? You want to make six figures, you want to make eight figures, you want to become a billionaire? You need an idea, that's the seed, and then you gotta be able to execute. So you can't just have an idea. If you sleep on your idea someone else will do it. Someone said fingerprinted home locks.
I actually have one of those in my house. But again, just 'cause the idea exists doesn't mean you can't do it better. Never forget that. So, chillow. Someone said it's already a thing called a chillow. (laughs) Hey, competition never scared me. Look at Coner McGregor. There was a champion and then he stepped in the ring, and he's the new champion. You could be the new champion. Don't be afraid of competition. Competition will make you work harder, make you stronger and it'll make you smarter and it'll make you more efficient. So, so what that they have a chillow? I've never heard of it, no one here basically ever heard of it. Probably 50,000 people are gonna watch this easily, so, be the next one. All right. Let me write her and say congratulations. Congratulations. I'll PayPal you $500. Oops, I wrote 5,000. Definitely not gonna send her 5,000. I'll PayPal you 500 for having the winning cold pillow business idea. All right, I'm gonna do this again, so keep watching my Twitter, my Facebook, maybe you could win.
I'm not gonna steal this idea for all you people that are haters, that are like oh, Tai's gonna, oh wait, did I not post right? Damn it. I think I gotta do it a different way. You gotta quote. Twitter's kind of a, you can't just reply, then only she sees it. I gotta quote it. That's what I mean. Everything's got its game. You gotta know how to play the game. All right, well I'm gonna post that to her and, yeah, I hope you win next. What was her name again? At, what did I say? Pizza underscore? Let's see here. You're seeing the behind the scenes, here. Magical underscore pizza. Magical underscore… Never use underscores in your usernames. That's my advice to you. Free advice. No one wants to type an underscore. Don't use underscores. If you already have one, it's too late, but, anyway, peace out, and I hope this was helpful, hope you learned a little bit, hope you got inspired, new ideas. Hope you'll have the next billion dollar idea.
I went live on my Facebook Page and Instagram and gave away $500 to the best business idea.
Your business idea can be the next winner.
