  • If you truly love your children, you would never send them to public school. In every conceivable measure, homeschooled children do better than those sent to public school.

    • Mr Krabs Nothing. They would need to do the studies on how they compare in adult life. Are they adjusted socially? I find they are not as well adjusted socially when compared to public school kids. Sure they do good with test scores but there is more to life.

    • Malibu LongBoards Surf School They have studied sociability also, homeschooled kids have no issues (most of them attend college afterwards). I'm not making these facts up, here's a link to the data (it's an infograph) http://www.home-school.com/news/homeschool-vs-public-school.php

    • Mr Krabs Attending college is not a measure of adjusted socially. I am all for home schooling and for many it is better.

    • Malibu LongBoards Surf School They measure 4 rates to determine social skills, and homeschooled students perform better on every one. There's not a single metric where a public school child outperforms a homeschooled one.The government can't even keep drugs out of prisons. Why would you trust them to educate your children?

Mr Krabs April 7, 2017 6:13 pm Reply
    • Mr Krabs It depends on the public school. Some will outperform home schoolers on those metrics. These are the exceptions and what happens when you combine good parents with the worlds best educators.

    • Malibu LongBoards Surf School There is no evidence of what you're claiming. I gave you facts and statistics are you are talking about exceptions. It doesn't matter how wonderful the teachers are, by law they're required to teach the politically correct, pro government garbage mandated by state and federal governments. If you don't care about their education & plan on sending them to that hell, why have kids at all?

Mr Krabs April 7, 2017 11:59 pm Reply
    • Mr Krabs There is evidence. Check the college acceptance rates at the top rated public high schools. Some of those are 98%-99%. That is higher than average home schoolers. I can understand if most are not aware of this, that's ok too.

    • Malibu LongBoards Surf School "college acceptance rates" what colleges? Anyone can get into community college.

Mr Krabs April 8, 2017 8:51 pm Reply
    • Mr Krabs Actually, I missed a stat, that is 99% grad rate and 90% 4 year university acceptance, these both are higher than average home schoolers. The point is some public schools are top notch however one wants to slice it. Good luck!
